I opened my hands
And let the moments fly away
They had grown tiny wings
Guess, it was time to go
I set them free
And I found freedom...

Hello Sib
this is so close to my heart... the moments that have wings now and that need to fly away now... harder i try to make them stay, the tougher it gets for me. yet.... setting them free gifts me with a certain peace... strangely numbing!
BEAUTIFULLY said!
Bravo!
Beautiful words, Soul. Just beautiful.
P.S.: You're the author, right?
-->Mehreen
Just let them fly away. Let them go. Free them.
I wish you all the peace of this world.
Thanks for liking it so much.

Letting go of the Moments is hard but at some point in our lives, we hv to do just that to set ourselves free. Just like u said in this post.
TC ok Soul. I wish u all the good things in life!
*smilez* byeee!
Keshi.
its indeed beautiful, setting free something which you have held on for the longest time but ultimately you release yourself from it too :)
-->Dragonfly

Thank you very much for liking it and arriving here once again.

I know it's hard to let go. That's all the more reason to free them lest they hold on to you forever.
Thank you so much. I wish you the best in life too. Always. Be well.

Very very beautiful. Take in the world, let it resonate, feel it, celebrate it, and then set it free to be available to the Moment once more.
-->Natural Moments
Beautifully said, Bernie. I loved it.
Thanks for arriving here. Your blog is such a beautiful one.
*cheers*

-->Agnes

Thanks, Agnes.

-->A.D
There's nothing called appropriate, I guess. But by burning them you'll still be left with the ashes. Let them go. Free them. They will free you too. Easier said than done!!! May be yes, but worth the try if you want your freedom, trust me.
Welcome to my blog. Thank you so much for reading. Do return.
*cheers*
Letting go is never easy, is it...
Profound words.
Peace.

Gretings,
First time 'ere. Sailed in from Ms. Qureshi's page.
Peace. Have a nice day.
-->Kartz
Heyy welcome aboard, Kartz. It was fun chatting up with you on FB the other day.
You are right. Letting go is never easy. But what are the options? It is the only way, I guess. Hard but worth the try.
Thank you very much for those good words. And of course, for arriving here.
*cheers*
thats neat and succinctly put ...
A question though .. frm my life i have been trying to answer this ....
when we let them fly away ... do they really fly AWAY or we make ourselves believe that they have flown away and condone them .. ?? will come back for the answer
-->Reclamation(The arrow signifies the word TOWARDS)
I agree with you. Letting them fly away is easier said than done.
The question is what do you choose in life? Pain is no choice. Guilt is not one either. Nor are remorse and self-pity. Trust me, all these cling on to you when you hold on to "the moments."
Free them and you will truly love them.
Thank you so much for being here. I felt great. Do return.
*cheers*
hmmm .... your point is true ... and we concur . plz visit
http://sidzreclaimed.blogspot.com/2009/02/my-lifes-story-he-paints.html
but the question is still unanswered .. i will be more clear ... i control my thoughts so i have banished them from my memory .. but then isnt it tht we just choose to overlook them ... ? come to terms with them .. as in the freeing is actually sort of not looking at them ...
i liked it... really an interesting concept, and very wise too... we only can be entirely free when we let go of something that chains us.
Thats tough though..
--> Soul:
:-)
Dear Soul,
Very beautiful...releasing and knowing we are not our memories or our thoughts. Butterflies are beautiful as is the process of letting go. And like the butterfly somtimes we need time in a cocoon to be ready to fly.
Always you enchant.
Thank you.
Namaste,
Sherry
Hope all is well with ya :)
Keshi.
-->Reclamation
Can you really banish them? What's overlooking? Is not it a conscious effort to stay away from something you hold so dear to your heart? So are you always in control?
I guess, the real challenge is to dispossess them. That is the key. You're right, Sid. It ain't easy. Nothing then is. And, there are no answers always.
*cheers*
-->Lena
Heyy Lena. Long time, lady. Good to see you again.
You are right. It's tough. Probably the toughest. Then the other option, like you said, is to remain chained.
Thank you for visiting. Good you're back.
*cheers*
-->Agnes
Thanks, Grandma. I meant Jamie's. :P
*cheers*
-->Sherry
So simply put. So beautifully put. I am amazed. You are right. We need our time in the cocoon to be ready to fly. But fly we must.
Thank you so much reading.
*cheers*
-->Keshi
Heyy, I should be asking you the question, Kesh.
How'z you and where'z you? Do tell me. Hope you are enjoying yourself.
*smilez*
Beautiful post!
I so relate!
Thank you!
Margie
-->Margie

Thank you so much for being here.

Such few words and they say so much...actually the picture says it all...soul stirring.These words shall stay with me for a long time.
-->Poonam
Thank you so very much, Poonam. I am so glad you arrived here. And I am delighted you liked it so much.
Thanks again. Please return.

Transformation is ongoing. To attune to the frequency of energy enables one to raise awareness of what matters. You discard what you outgrow and uncover who you have always been. It is a pleasure to engage in rebirth, a road to self-discovery.
